How to install and start IlsDesktop

Goal: Your device runs IlsDesktop.

pre-condition: You have downloaded IlsDesktop and ILSService is running.

IlsDesktop will run as an application, but without a main window. Instead it will reside in the system tray. A context menu opens when you do a right-click on the IlsDesktop tray icon. A running ILSService is not mandatory to run IlsDesktop, but it makes no sense to use IlsDesktop when no ILSService is running on the same target.

1. Unzip the contents of the installation file to an installation directory of your choice.
2. Open a command line window.
3. Change to <installation directory>\IlsDesktop.
4. Start IlsDesktop. IlsDesktop
5. For your convenience put IlsDesktop into the Startup-Folder of the device.
